Jim was one of the nicest people that I have the pleasure to have met and known. His sense of humour and wit were infectious and an example to us all in times of adversity. Although his life must have been difficult at times, I never heard him complain except when Ryanair failed to provide the service to disembark him at the Spanish airport he used. He achieved so much including a career in the motor trade and his abilities as an accomplished artist and supporter for the theatre and performing arts. There are probably many other things in the community that we are not all aware of, but of course he will be remembered for his work in Rotary for which he has been President twice. Jim rest in peace in a better place.
